Far from his royal luxuries, the wandering feline is taken in by a kind young girl who names him Kris. On a cozy local farmhouse, Kris meets Freyja, the resident cat. The book's captivating narrative is derived from the creative foundation for Hewitt's award-winning animated Kris the Cat film, released in 2023.
